Arrival of Ambassador Philomena Murnaghan

H. E. Philomena Murnaghan has succeeded Ambassador Denham as Ambassador of Ireland to Lithuania and Belarus. Ambassador Murnaghan was previously Ambassador of Ireland to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Departure of Ambassador Dónal Denham

On 27 August 2010, H. E. Dónal Denham returned to Dublin, having served as Ireland's Ambassador to Lithuania for five years, and as Ireland's Ambassador to Belarus for one year. You can read Ambassador Denham's farewell message here.

Departure of Ms. Janice McGann

Ms. Janice McGann has returned to Dublin, having served three years as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland in Vilnius. She has been replaced by Ms. Séadhna MacHugh.
